“…a deeper connection than I ever thought possible.”

“…a deeper connection than I ever thought possible.”

Dear Janki Foundation,

I want to thank you for the free online copy of the Values in Healthcare pack.
On Saturday 29th April 2018, I attended one of your silent retreat days for healthcare professionals at the Quiet View in Kent. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to meet Dr Julia Ronder, who organises these retreats. I made several attempts to participate in the 8 week Mindful Self-Compassion training, but due to significant health problems at the time was unable to do so. Since then, however I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity this year to book onto all 3 silent retreats.

I had a wonderful experience and felt overwhelmed with how powerful the silent retreat was. It was very inspiring and I felt a deeper connection than I ever thought possible. It was wonderful to receive the gift of the compassion cards.

I also enjoyed reading the information leaflets which led me to join the mailing list and look up the Values in Healthcare training programme. It is my aim to promote and discuss this training further when I meet with my manager in the future. Until then I shall enjoy reading the manual. I look forward to the next silent retreat and I hope to use the manual and look at training opportunities and to purchasing the full manual and CDs as well as provide a donation. Of course I shall cite The Janki Foundation when I use it.

Thank you again for the opportunity to be able to download the pack for free and of course the gift of kindness and compassion.

Social Media Survey

Dear All,

Hope you have had an enjoyable summer.

We are in the process of reviewing the Janki Foundation's social media content, which includes our website.

Studies have indicated that different healthcare professionals have variable use of social media platforms, and they will make recommendations to patients or colleagues based on their confidence and reliability of information. In the current climate of healthcare crisis and information overload, we would benefit from an understanding on how spirituality-related information is accessed by healthcare professionals. This will enable us to focus our messages, events and outreach.

We would greatly welcome your valuable thoughts through this survey. It is anonymous and will take less than 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you.

Best wishes,
