JF Care, Share & Inspire Retreat - A Journey into Inner Values
Global Retreat Centre, Oxford • 15–17 May 2026
The Janki Foundation’s Care, Share & Inspire retreat brought together 42 participants and 6 facilitators from across the health and social care sector for a weekend of reflection, renewal, and values‑based learning. Held in the serene surroundings of the Global Retreat Centre, the retreat offered a unique experiential journey into inner values and practical spiritual tools to support wellbeing, resilience, and compassionate practice.
A Space for Reflection and Connection
Through guided meditations, reflective conversations, creative expression, and periods of nourishing silence, participants explored what truly matters — compassion, clarity, courage, and connection. The programme encouraged a gentle shift from busy-ness to inner stillness, helping individuals rediscover their strengths and deepen their sense of purpose.
Self-care was identified as a priority, particularly in response to carer burnout, workplace stress, and the need for more humane, heart-led services.
Participants engaged in an extended period of silence which included walking in silence and forest bathing.
Inner Values
The retreat also inspired practical ways to bring values into everyday life and workplace culture, from mindful pauses and self‑care practices to embedding values‑based approaches in teams, training, and community settings.

Inspire and Renewed
Participants left feeling renewed, supported, and motivated to care, share, and inspire — both personally and professionally.
