The Janki Foundation invites you to an afternoon seminar on the theme of “Thriving Under Pressure”, to be hald at the Winters Barns, Canterbury, on Friday 26th February 2010.

This is part of a series of events in Kent based on the project ‘Values in Healthcare.’ It aims to help recharge and restore our energy for our work with people so that we thrive rather than survive in our jobs.

4.25pm Is it possible to thrive under pressure? Phillippa Dolley, BBC Producer & Presenter interviews Miss Jill Sheppard, Solicitor; Dr Craig Brown and Dr Martin Garsed, General Practitioners

5.10pm Workshops: ‘Thriving at work’ Facilitated by Rev Lizzie Hopthrow; Nannette Jackson, Counsellor, Pilgrims Hospices & Dr Craig Brown

Rail: Canterbury East 2.2 Miles & Canterbury West 2.8 Miles

Road: From Canterbury, turn right at the cricket ground from the Old Dover Road taking the Nackington Road (B2068) towards Hythe. After approximately 1.4 miles, opposite the sign for the rugby club on the right take the left turn for Winters Barns. This is the last turning before you cross over the bridge over the A2. There is plenty of free parking and disabled access.

This is a non-profit making event. Entrance is £10 to cover cost of refreshements and room hire. Voluntary contributions are welcome.
