This retreat aims to recharge our inner batteries and to provide time out from our usual roles and responsibilities. The sessions will be facilitated by experienced Values in HealthCare Facilitators, and will balance time for discussion with time for silent reflection. The Values in Healthcare Programme provides a variety of modules, and this day will be based on the ‘Positivity in Healthcare’ module. This will cover skills such as valuing oneself, standing back, saying STOP, and appreciating others at work.

Both facilitators leading the sessions have experience in delivering Values in Healthcare sessions in many NHS, charitable and independent healthcare settings, helping staff become aware of, and reconnecting with their own resources.

Venue: ‘The Quiet View’ is a registered ‘Quiet Garden’ with retreat facilities, featured on Songs of Praise, A Centre for Contemplative Spirituality. For more info: http://www.quietview.co.uk/index.html
