The word intuition conjures up different meanings for each of us. It can be described as an inner knowing, a sense of what’s right, a feeling for what is needed beyond the immediate visible circumstances. It is that inner voice and call to act on our instinct. It is something that may have developed in us through our personal and professional experience.
In healthcare work we increasingly have to answer to processes and dynamics which can leave little space for human intuition. This may result in us feeling frustrated, self-doubting and restricted, unable to express our individual judgements and hunches as regards our patients’ and clients’ needs.
Nurturing our intuition can give us more confidence in using it. The more we can understand and harness this wealth of natural skill and intelligence, the more we can use it alongside factual knowledge, balancing both head and heart to enrich our own life and the lives of others.
This retreat will enable healthcare practitioners to:
- Take time out to relax, reflect and recharge
- Explore and harness your intuitive skills
- Experience the benefits of various learning tools to nurture your intuition.
