The third in a series of one-day retreats organised by the Kent group of The Janki Foundation.

Our aim is to enable those wishing for more silence in their lives to come together and recharge their inner batteries.

Who can come?

The retreats are designed for healthcare professionals, but as everyone cares for another, those from all professional and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. The days are ideally aimed at those already experienced and comfortable with silence.

Structure of the retreat day:

10:00 Registration and coffee

10:30 – 11:30 Retreat leader shares experiences and ideas for practice.

11:30 – 14:30 Silence. Time for walking, sitting still, and quiet (packed) lunch.

14:30 Closing session in yurt.

15:00 Tea and end.

To book a place (essential due to limited numbers) please email lizziehopthrow@gmail.com at The Quiet View.

For directions and more information about The Quiet View please see www.quietview.co.uk

Extras to know:

The retreat is free of charge, but donations are welcome. Tea, coffee and refreshments are provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Please also feel free to bring blankets, cushions, diaries, art or written materials to support your day.

Happidote, the Janki Foundation's mobile app for meditation and relaxation, is currently experiencing technical issues.

Some users are reporting difficulties in downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Our technical team is already looking into the issue and are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing, and thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to fix the problem.
