Compassion can be likened to the sun, in that it is always there but sometimes it cannot shine through because of clouds. The clouds are the negativity that obscures our true nature of compassion. Compassion brings humanity to health care. It is the expression of our innate qualities of patience, generosity and kindness. This session explores ways to bring compassion into care.

The event is free of charge, however, voluntary contributions are welcome. To secure a place, a £10 refundable deposit is requested.

Hope you have had an enjoyable summer. 

 

We are in the process of reviewing the Janki Foundation's social media content, which includes our website. 

 

Studies have indicated that different healthcare professionals have variable use of social media platforms, and they will make recommendations to patients or colleagues based on their confidence and reliability of information. In the current climate of healthcare crisis and information overload, we would benefit from an understanding on how spirituality-related information is accessed by healthcare professionals. This will enable us to focus our messages, events and outreach.
