10 Scenarios

We have selected 10 stressful situations people commonly face in healthcare settings. Click on the scenario to hear the situation in full. Ask yourself “How do I feel?” The antidote corresponding to that situation is revealed through a short meditation. It will calm you down and bring you back to a state of balance.

It is a very good meditation App. I like all the nice pictures and the sounds are great. I use many of the scenarios and the core meditation when I am feeling anxious and overwhelmed. The words, music and pictures make me feel relaxed and mindful and help me concentrate better. I really enjoy the Happidote App and have recommended it to my friends. It’s great! – Volunteer/Service User, SWYPT

I have used the Happidote App, all 10 scenarios and the three core meditations many times. It helps me to deal with stress by managing the situation better – allowing me to turn negativity into positive and getting a greater outcome of the situation. It helps me gain more confidence in any stressful situation or when I feel overwhelmed. For example, when I am having trouble to sleep I use the ‘stressed and overwhelmed’ scenario. The male voice is more effective for me and soothing to help me go into my sacred place. I find this app very beneficial and will definitely recommend it others – clients and staff. – SWYPT Community Support Worker, SK Core team, Folly Hall

The way the App is designed is simple and easy to follow. The length of the meditations is perfect – it gives bite size portions to digest. I like the option that you can go straight to the antidote of a scenario or choose the core meditations. I have used quite a few of the Happidote scenarios and they have made me feel better about myself – to be more self-appreciation and to instil self-compassion. I have and will continue to definitely recommend it to others to feel more empowered and not alone. – Volunteer SWYPT
