The Janki Foundation for Global Health Care is a UK-based charity which encourages research and awareness in the field of health and spirituality. It is dedicated to positive human development and whole-person healthcare, an approach that considers the needs of patients and practitioners at the levels of body, mind and spirit.

"Values in Healthcare: a spiritual approach", launched in 2004, is a personal and team development programme to help healthcare professionals take a values-based approach to their learning and practice. See latest news.

'Lifting Your Spirits - seven tools for coping with illness', is a practical guide for anyone coping with illness. The author, Jan Alcoe shares her experience of how she took an active part in her own healing. The book includes 2 CDs and can be used by individuals for their own well-being or introduced into patient support groups, therapy centres, hospices, and other healthcare services. This is an event supporting healthcare practitioners and will consist of discussions exploring the theme of spirituality in healthcare. Speakers include Rev Gillian Munro, Head of Department of Spiritual care, NHS Tayside; Ian Govier, Development Manager for Nursing Leadership at the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare; and Dr Sarah Eagger, Chair of the Special Interest Group (SIG) in Spirituality and Psychiatry at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. There will also be an address by Dadi Janki, President of The Janki Foundation for Global Health Care.
