These are a series of one day seminars, based on the modular programme ‘Values in Healthcare: a spiritual approach’, to support healthcare practitioners led by experienced facilitators.
The seminars support Continuing Professional Development & Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).
These seminars are an opportunity to revitalise your work by taking an inward journey through experiential exercises using a variety of fun learning tools for self-enquiry.
The seminars would help develop areas of communication, personal and people development, service improvement, equality and diversity.
Certificates of attendance will be issued.
Prior registration is essential. The charge for each seminar is £20 which includes lunch and refreshments, room hire & materials – there is no charge for running the seminar.
Monday 7 July – Values – gaining strength through motivation
Wednesday 23 July – Peace – benefit from being calm and stay cool
Thursday 31 July – Positivity – harness the power of thoughts
Tuesday 5 August – Compassion – release healing energy

Reviving the Spirit Within Palliative Care Practice
A multi-professional learning conference

The Janki Foundation has helped in organising this two day conference, which will explore new, exciting and creative ways in which we can incorporate spiritual care into day to day practice within the current context of palliative care. The conference will consist of presentations and workshops offered by a wide range of practitioners who will reflect on the areas of palliative and spiritual care. The speakers will draw on their research, knowledge and experience arising from the integration of spirituality into their practice of health care.

Values in Healthcare Advanced Facilitators’ Training

This is a follow-up to previous trainings in facilitating the ‘Values in Healthcare: a spiritual approach’ programme. It will provide an opportunity to deepen the art of facilitation and to explore together ideas for using Values in Healthcare in different ways and settings.

Values in Healthcare Facilitators’ Training

This training aims to develop the understanding and facilitation skills of those wishing to promote and facilitate the ‘Values in Healthcare: a spiritual approach’ programme. The programme will include some presentations but much of the time will be spent in small group work, giving participants an opportunity to directly experience and use the Values in Healthcare materials and activities in a learning community environment and have fun!
